As a Data Developer, you'll play a key role in building robust data pipelines, deployment workflows, and orchestration architecture that help streamline communication across the Bank. Your primary responsibility will be to translate business processes into efficient, testable, supportable, and largely automated workflows.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Architect & Scale: Design modular, scalable data architectures aligned with enterprise strategy and cloud environments.
  • Develop & Automate: Build and maintain advanced data pipelines using tools like dbt, Python, and SQL; implement CI/CD for testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Ensure Security & Compliance: Define and enforce secure development practices in line with data governance, privacy regulations, and internal policies.
  • Drive Innovation: Lead tool evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and recommend new technologies that align with business goals.
  • Ensure Data Quality & Reliability: Establish robust validation, monitoring, and observability practices to ensure trustworthy, high-quality data products.
  • Collaborate & Mentor: Advise analysts on the decisions and data you need from them and how they can best leverage your solutions to test requirements and conduct on-going data validation in production.
  • Enable Business Insights: Partner with business teams to deliver performance semantic models and empower self-service reporting using tools like Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.

What You Bring to the Table

  • You have at least 5 years of development experience.
  • You’ve worked in enterprise data enough to know how data platforms fit with governance and integration solutions.
  • You’re comfortable working with data security at rest and in transit.
  • You’re also at ease with Application Programming Interface (API) management and design.
  • You have experience with the following languages:
    • SQL
    • Python
    • Java or C#
    • JavaScript
    • Git (Azure DevOps, GitHub)
  • You’ll get bonus points if you have:
    • You’re a pro at cloud engineering, CI/CD, or developing data-backed applications using a combination of REST, RDBMS technologies
    • Azure and\or AWS experience with App Services, SQL Server, Function and Logic Apps
    • Powershell or Bash
