About the role
Key Responsibilities:
- ###Normal duties during the week. On the weekend: Leading and supporting daily operations.
- ###Champion a safety-first culture and ensure adherence to all safety and environmental regulations.
- ###Great communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to actively listen and treat others with respect and dignity while coaching them toward success.
- ###Strong knowledge of the Stevenage facility.
- ###Strong computer skills
- ###Being punctual and presentable
- ###Preferred: Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driver abstract.
- ###Preferred: Forklift license certification
- ###Schedule and conduct safety meetings and document attendees and topics covered. Ensure employees follow safety guidelines and perform duties in a safe manner.
- ###Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
- ###Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- ###Excellent leadership, communication and management skills.
- ###Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instruction and procedure manuals.
- ###Ability to satisfactorily perform all duties required.
- ###Ability to occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds.
