About the role

The SAS Platform Department is responsible for ensuring Desjardins has modern, secure and accessible analysis platforms. These platforms help Desjardins be more agile in achieving its business objectives for members and clients. Our department is actively involved in implementing and upgrading our SAS platforms to the new SAS Viya platform (cloud computing), as well as administering the SAS Grid platform (on premise). As SAS Platform Administrator, your role will be to actively participate in the day-to-day management of our SAS platforms, ensuring that they’re available to all users. Thoroughness and customer service are essential skills for this position. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Provide technical assistance: Work with other teams to help them use the platform.
  • Monitor systems: Make sure the SAS platforms are available, operational and stable.
  • Manage incidents: Detect, analyze and solve problems in real time.
  • Execute automated tasks: Supervise batch processes and automated scripts.
  • Document your work: Save incidents, interventions and processes in management systems as an information source for your colleagues and platform users.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of six years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Knowledge of Linux operating systems
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools
