Salary Range**:**The full pay range for this role is $16.54 to $27.55 per hour, and the good faith estimated starting pay for this position upon hire is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour. We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.
Scope of Job**:**This Portfolio Accounting internship position will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, i.e. monthly reconciliations, research reconciling differences, journal entries, etc.
Internship Duration**:**May 2026 to August 2026
Responsibilities:
Goals of Internship**:**
- Hands on experience for the intern.
- Exposure to renewable energy industry.
- Additional resource to the Accounting team
Skills to Acquire**:**
- Accounting knowledge specific to the industry
- Workflow of procedures and processes
- Understanding of JE documentation
Working Conditions**:**Hybrid schedule of three days in the office with remaining two days at the discretion of working remotely or in the office. Time spent in the office environment, utilizing computers, phones, and general office equipment.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience**:**
- Graduate or Undergraduate Degree in Accounting
- Eligible to work in Canada with no sponsorship.
- Available for full time hours.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities**:**
- Ability to learn quickly
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimum supervision
- Entrepreneurial, energetic, and flexible personality with a bias towards action
- Possess strong analytical and research skills
- Able to learn quickly
- Skilled in interpersonal relationships with strong communication skills
- Interested in growing a career in the renewable energy market.
Physical Requirements**:**None specifically besides sitting at a desk or standing.
