About the role

The hourly wage rate for this position is $22. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. Job Summary

The Bookings Specialist delivers a high level of hospitality and guest-facing service within a corporate conferencing environment. This role is responsible for welcoming guests, coordinating meeting room bookings, and supporting the smooth execution of daily events.

Working closely with internal teams, the Bookings Specialistensures a professional and seamless experience for guests and event organizers while managing reservations, responding to inquiries, and supporting basic administrative and billing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests and provide a professional, friendly first point of contact
  • Assist with general inquiries, directions, and meeting support
  • Maintain a polished and organized reception and event environment
  • Manage meeting room bookings and maintain accurate event details
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure spaces are prepared and ready
  • Communicate with organizers to confirm event logistics as needed
  • Maintain basic billing and event records, including cancellations and updates
  • Assist with invoice inquiries and provide general cost information when required
  • Support administrative tracking and documentation related to bookings
  • Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations
  • Assist during high-volume periods to ensure consistent service levels
  • Contribute to a professional and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality, reception, or customer service preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
  • Experience with booking systems is an asset
