The location in Hawesville, (Kentucky, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Electrical Reliability Supervisor. This job is full-time permanent.
Electrical Reliability Supervisor
Domtar's Hawesville Mill is seeking a dedicated and experienced Reliability Supervisor to support the ongoing performance and reliability of our maintenance operations. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement and asset reliability across the site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with operations and maintenance teams to identify and implement improvements in process and equipment reliability across the mill.
- Provide technical support and maintenance engineering expertise across multiple departments.
- Lead predictive technologies initiatives by analyzing equipment history, performing root cause failure analyses, and recommending corrective actions.
- Execute outage work/projects when assigned
- Supervise maintenance technicians in the reliability department
Position Requirements:
- Strong personal commitment to workplace safety
- Technical trade school diploma with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge of equipment, process systems, and equipment selection practices.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills across a wide range of electrical and instrumentation systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to physically perform in an industrial environment including:
- Frequent walking, stair and ladder climbing, and work in confined spaces.
- Lifting, measuring, and carrying objects of varying weights.
- Exposure to dust, heat, chemicals, noise, and weather conditions.
- Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and respiratory protection as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Minimum of 3 years of direct reliability experience in a heavy industrial setting.
- Proven track record of fostering and promoting a safe work environment.
- Experience with SAP Plant Maintenance or similar enterprise systems.
- Training and hands-on experience with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
