Warehouse Supervisor - Evening Shift
About the role
The Warehouse Supervisor supports day‑to‑day warehouse operations by leading staff, ensuring compliance with safety and operational procedures, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities

Ensure consistent adherence to Bunzl Daily Best Practices and procedures.

Conduct cycle counts, activity walks, and empty-bin walks daily.

Meet Bunzl Standard KPI Goals.

Support accurate and timely order assembly and shipment preparation.

Optimize cube utilization on delivery vehicles to reduce operating costs.
-
Maintain a professional and collaborative working environment.
-
Promote a safe workplace and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and company policies.

Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs.
-
Monitor operational performance and support employees in meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
-
Assist with receiving, picking, and general warehouse functions as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Prior lead or supervisory experience required.
- 1–3 years of warehouse experience.
- Knowledge of WMS systems, OHSA regulations, and transportation regulations.
- Strong judgment, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to safely lift up to 25kg to 55+ lbs. on a regular basis and work at heights of up to 26 feet.
- Experience with order pickers, counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, and pump trucks.
- Ability to work safely in accordance with company safety policies and applicable occupational health and safety legislation.
