About The Role
We are actively seeking a Contractor Management Specialist to play a critical role in ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of contractor work across site operations. This role is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end contractor lifecycle—from pre-qualification and onboarding through to performance monitoring and closeout.
Working closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, Safety, Environment, Training, and Security, the Specialist ensures all contractor requirements are met prior to and during work execution. This position also maintains accurate, auditable records within the Contractor Management System and provides data-driven insights to support risk-based decision-making and continuous improvement.
This role is located at the Cote Gold Mine Site on a rotational schedule.
Responsibilities
Coordinate contractor pre-qualification and onboarding, ensuring all safety, environmental, and operational requirements are met prior to mobilization Partner with internal stakeholders to confirm scope, risk profile, training requirements, and mobilization readiness Maintain accurate, complete, and auditable contractor records, documentation, and system data integrity Administer the Contractor Management System, ensuring workflows, approvals, and tasks are tracked and completed Validate contractor reporting (e.g., safety metrics, incidents, workforce hours, compliance data) for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness Monitor contractor compliance trends, identify risks, and escalate non-conformance or gaps to stakeholders Compile and analyze contractor performance data to develop dashboards, reports, and actionable insights Support contractor demobilization and closeout activities, including final reporting, corrective actions, and lessons learned
Job Qualifications
Key Skills & Knowledge
Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration, Operations, Maintenance or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Relevant Experience
2–5 years of experience in contractor coordination, HSE administration, compliance tracking, or operations support Experience in a mining, industrial, or heavy maintenance environment is considered an asset. Experience in maintenance planning considered an asset.
