Inventory Coordinator ( Night) – Roles and Responsibilities

**Location:**Decibel Cannabis Company
**Employment Type:**Full Time
Pay rate:****$20/hr base pay + $2/ hr Night Premium
**Shift:**Thursday to Sunday 9 PM to 8AM
Training Period: March 30th , 2026 to April 17th , 2026 ( Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm)
Start Date: asap (30th March preferred)
Position Summary:
The Inventory Coordinator will support day-to-day inventory operations at Decibel Cannabis, ensuring accurate handling, documentation, and movement of cannabis and non-cannabis materials. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory integrity and compliance with Health Canada regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Handling & Documentation
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing incoming materials according to SOPs.
- Accurately document inventory movements in internal tracking systems and ERP software (Sage).
- Support production and Shipping teams by preparing and delivering required materials.
- Support QA/ R&D team for sample collection.
- Ensure all inventory areas are clean, organized, and compliant with GPP/GMP standards.
Compliance & Record Maintenance
- Follow all regulatory guidelines for cannabis handling, tracking, and storage as per Health Canada regulations.
- Accurately log destruction, waste, and batch movement data.
- Assist with preparing and maintaining inventory records for internal and external audits.
Inventory Counts & Audits
- Participate in cycle counts and full inventory counts as scheduled.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages to the Inventory Supervisor/ Manager promptly.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Inventory Supervisor/ Manager and other departments (Production, QA, Shipping) to ensure timely and accurate inventory availability.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding material needs, delays, or issues.
Health & Safety
- Adhere strictly to safety procedures, PPE requirements, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure secure handling and storage of all cannabis products in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 1–2 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or production environments; experience in cannabis or regulated industries is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems and basic computer skills; ERP experience is a plus.
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks on foot for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
