About the role

LMS Systems Administrator – Learning & Development The LMS Systems Administrator plays a central role in supporting and modernizing our learning ecosystem as we transition to new learning management platforms. This highly operational and technically driven role ensures all employees receive the right training at the right time by maintaining a reliable, accurate, and compliant LMS environment. Working closely with cross‑functional teams across HR, Quality, Safety, Operations, and Technology, the LMS Systems Administrator strengthens training processes, enhances system automation, and supports organizational excellence. Guided by our core values — including Sustainability (people, planet, and profit), this role is instrumental in ensuring our learning systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with regulatory requirements.

Permanent, Full Time (40 hours) Monday to Friday, Monday – Friday 8:00 – 4:30PM (flexible as required) In this role, you will: LMS Administration & System Ownership

  • Serve as the primary administrator for Dayforce Learning, overseeing configuration, optimization, and daily system operations.
  • Support LMS migrations including data validation, content migration, testing, and post–go-live stabilization.
  • Maintain LMS user profiles, security roles, permissions, and organizational hierarchies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in collaboration with HR, Global Technology, and external vendors.
  • Manage LMS upgrades, patches, enhancements, and new feature enablement.

Learning Plan Design & Automation

  • Build, maintain, and automate learning plans for job roles, departments, and compliance areas.
  • Incorporate SOP-based training, Quality/Safety requirements, and departmental needs into structured learning paths.
  • Ensure learning plans trigger automatically based on job changes, onboarding workflows, or compliance cycles.
  • Collaborate with the L&D team to translate training matrices into scalable digital assignments.

Onboarding & New Hire Enablement

  • Support and maintain the New Hire Learning Path to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Manage onboarding-related content including e-learning, checklists, and scheduled courses.
  • Ensure new employees receive timely access to required learning; track completion throughout the probation period.

Training Assignment & Content Management

  • Upload, publish, and maintain learning content (modules, assessments, videos, checklists, job aids).
  • Maintain course catalogs, metadata, competencies, and training requirements.
  • Ensure training assignments meet Quality, Safety, GMP, and regulatory expectations.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports related to compliance, overdue assignments, completion rates, and audit readiness.
  • Provide meaningful training insights to Quality, HR, Safety, Operations, and leadership teams.
  • Analyze learner activity and system usage to support continuous improvement.
  • Support audits by retrieving historical training records and ensuring data integrity.

Cross‑Functional Partnership & Support

  • Partner with Quality, Safety, HR, Technology, and SMEs to ensure training requirements remain accurate and current.
  • Assist employees and leaders with LMS navigation, troubleshooting, and system questions.
  • Support L&D team members with workflow automation, system enhancements, and content updates.
  • Participate in governance discussions related to system upgrades, training processes, and digital transformation efforts.

You have:

  • 3–5+ years of LMS administration experience (Dayforce, Illumi, or Docebo an asset).
  • Experience supporting LMS migrations, upgrades, or system optimization projects.
  • Strong understanding of LMS administration including roles, permissions, workflows, learning plans, and content management.
  • Experience developing automated learning paths and structured learning assignments.
  • Strong reporting and dashboarding skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with technical teams and vendors to troubleshoot and improve system functionality.
  • Knowledge of compliance training environments (GMP, Quality, Safety) is an asset.
  • Familiarity with SCORM, xAPI, and e-learning development tools.
