We are currently accepting applications to support upcoming our Northern Alberta based projects with our clients. Rotation: 14 days on /14 days off Shift: 12 Hours Travel: Drive in / Drive out to the yard location (Poplar Creek) Lodging: Provided for non-local worker Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of Alcohol and Drug Screening Successful completion of comprehensive Fitness-to-Work Assessment. This assessment is job-related, focusing on the physical demands and safety sensitive nature of the work, and is conducted in accordance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and the Alberta Human Rights Act. The assessment will cover: Health History Review: A thorough examination of the candidate’s health background. Pre-Medical Evaluation: Measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. Musculoskeletal Examination: A head-to-toe assessment to identify any limitations or concerns related to physical health. Critical Strength and Mobility Test: A series of tasks assessing lifting, carrying, and positional abilities aligned with the job’s physical demands (up to 50 lbs). Worker to provide: Valid Safety Training tickets CSO / BSO / CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional Intermediate First Aid with CPR & AED H2S Alive Valid Driver’s License CSA Approved safety boots - minimum 6" high & fully laceable. As a Parts Coordinator, you will be detail oriented, self-motivated and safety conscious. You’re a team player who’s customer service focused attitude does not go unnoticed. In this position you will be a part of Morgan’s success by: Receiving all incoming parts/goods, verifying against shipping documents, and assisting with unloading; Demonstrating proper safe storage and handling procedures for all parts and materials/chemicals while maintaining a clean and orderly shop; Preparing documents and shipping goods back to vendors, correcting damages/shortages as required; Picking up and delivering parts and components; Maintaining stocked shelves as advised; and Actively participating in Morgan’s safety program and maintaining an excellent safety culture. Experience / Qualification Requirements A minimum of 1 year of experience working in a parts coordinator role; Knowledge of proper shipping procedures for transportation of dangerous goods. Capable of lifting/ pushing and pulling heavy items on a regular basis; Use of skid steer, dolly, and hand carts; Computer skills needed, experience in inventory control system and Microsoft office; and Must possess a valid class 5 driver’s license; About Morgan: Over the past 40+ years, Morgan has completed over 5400 heavy civil projects.
