About the role

Summary: The Sales Manager is an influential role which will operate in the field to help advance and achieve sales success of a development project while also operating out of our Vancouver head office to support and elevate our sales operations. This unique opportunity allows for continued influence on the sales floor along with growth, learning and exposure to multiple aspects of sales direction and programming at the corporate level. Working directly with our Director of Sales, this role allows for the continued development and nurturing of relationships with realtor partners and outside brokers, while also supporting the onboarding, recruitment, motivation and development of our internal sales teams.

About the role:

  • Support and assist in directing all aspects of the Marcon sales experience
  • Influence and oversee the daily execution of your development project sales program
  • Assist in the leading and motivation of a team of exceptional sales representatives and sales coordinators
  • Develop and nurture relationships with outsider realtor partners and brokerages
  • Assist in providing and influencing sales strategies to ensure project sales targets, budgets and absorptions are realized
  • Assist in inventory management, pricing strategies, incentive programs and sales budgets
  • Lead client relationships and ensure prospects are receiving the Marcon sales experience consistently across all of our active project sites
  • Provide regular reporting and strategies on active projects including sales, revenue, competition and traffic
  • As needed, provide support and assist in leading our Sales Administration and Homeowner Care teams with contract administration, conveyance coordination and communication, contract amendments, closing notices and purchaser databases.
  • Collaborate with internal development, construction and sales & marketing teams to influence our project pipeline, internal sales processes and elevate all touchpoints within our sales journey

About you:

You are driven by leading sales teams, executing exceptional sales programs, and are known for your ability to cultivate and foster genuine relationships. Your deep experience in the sales field has created a desire to influence and execute a robust pipeline of sales programs while elevating the sales experience across a broad variety of sales sites. You are a leader by nature who loves to be relied upon and thrives on developing creative, self-driven sales teams. You view each sales program as an opportunity to think outside of the box and approach each with a genuine desire to achieve success and results through creative approaches, committed relationships and authentic team motivation. You possess fantastic communication skills and show up daily looking to make an impact.

  • Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in residential project sales
  • Actively licensed as a REALTOR in BC
  • Passionate about delivering the best possible sales experience while influencing your team to make each interaction an opportunity to showcase the project and developer brand in the best light.
  • Exceptional leader capable of growing, developing and influencing multiple different sales teams
  • Ability to create results and drive success independently
  • Strong relationships in the REALTOR and developer community
  • Ability to develop, refine and communicate/train processes and systems to create efficiencies and elevate experiences
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to execute outside of regular work hours at multiple project sales centres
  • Strong time management, organizational and communication skills along with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong experience in multiple CRM, contract writing and business systems such as Avesdo, Lasso, Intercom etc.

Our competitive compensation package has been designed to reward our employees’ skills, competencies and performance that align with our culture. The compensation range for this role is $70,000 to $100,000 annually plus commissions. This is depending on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
