We are looking for an experienced and meticulous Telecom Foreman to lead our teams specializing in civil infrastructure and telecommunication towers. If you are a field leader with solid technical expertise and an eye for detail, this opportunity is for you!

Job Description

The Telecom Foreman supervises and coordinates the work of telecom installers and riggers on job sites. They act as the essential link between management and the field team, ensuring projects are completed according to plans, schedules, budgets, and the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and Execution

  • Plan and organize job sites (teams, transport, materials) and read and apply engineering plans and specifications.
  • Supervise the execution of work (foundations, towers, guy wires, antennas, cables).
  • Act as the liaison between the office and the field team.

• Team Management

  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians, including task assignment, training, and disciplinary management.
  • Perform administrative follow-up for the teams (timesheets, reports, etc.).

• Safety and Quality

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety rules on job sites (e.g., Field Level Risk Assessments, inspections, etc.).
  • Control the quality and conformity of installations according to industry standards and client requirements.

• Collaboration

  • Manage material and human resources and collaborate with other departments for smooth operations.

Skills and Qualifications

• Significant experience as a telecom rigger or installer.
• In-depth knowledge of telecommunication networks, equipment, and tools, ideally in the civil and tower fields.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and evaluate a team.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Strong communication skills with the team, clients, and other departments.
• Professional diploma as a Line Rigger, Telecom Cable Installer, or in Electrical trades (an asset).
