About the role

Summary Reporting to the Manager, Quality Controls, the Receiving Inspector position encompasses, but is not limited to, inspecting incoming purchased and/or customer supplied products, materials, and documentation to requirements of the purchase orders, project specification and applicable ASME codes. Inspect outgoing products, material, and documentation to the requirements of export shipping order.

With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of Enerflex’s Calgary South East facility.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for the day-to-day material receiving
  • Support various groups including Purchasing and Production to ensure materials are received identified and issued accurately and in a timely manner
  • Verifying compliance of incoming material to the purchase order, code, and customer requirements
  • Administration of the material database
  • Provide assistance to the rest of the Quality Control Inspectors as required
  • Adhering to internal quality programs and ensuring customer specifications are met
  • Interaction with customer representatives and Authorized Inspectors

Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of experience in a construction/manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of the ASME sec II code is considered an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills are required
  • Excellent time management, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated focus on quality, accuracy and thoroughness
  • Results oriented and team player
