Prototyping/Assembly Technician

In this position, you will work with the manufacturing team to build, test, and integrate electric motor powertrains into customer applications. Enedym is looking for a self-starter who is eager to work in a fast-paced technically diverse environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and troubleshoot electric motor assemblies
• Assemble and integrate low voltage/ high voltage electrical systems
• Read and follow technical drawings and schematics
• Thoroughly document the build process of prototypes, and provide manufacturing feedback to the engineering team
• Provide suggestions and ideas to improve manufacturing processes or product designs

Qualifications

• A Diploma or Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Technician field of study, or Certificate of Qualification (C of Q), Real Seal in a related trade
• 1 - 2+ years experience in a technical field
• Strong mechanical background including assembly, and troubleshooting electronic/mechanical devices
• Experience using hand tools, measurement equipment, and other shop tools
• Strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or within a team environment
• Execute responsibilities with close attention to detail

Additional Assets

• Experience in prototype manufacturing environment
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Experience with electric machines
