About the role
Key Responsibilities:

Meet deadlines for questions, responses, and submissions as well as contract execution deadlines
-
Maintain a standard reporting system of what RFP’s are due with pertinent information
-
Assist with clarification questions between clients and GFL
-
Follow-up with management or key contacts for proposal responses
-
Work with Corporate, Group and Division management, sales managers, sales representatives and, operations to gather information for proposal responses
-
Request Certificates of Insurance (COI) and Workers Safety Insurance Board (WSIB)
-
Assist with upkeep of internal documentation including, but not limited to policies, procedures, COI, and WSIB
-
Maintain document templates
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:
- Post-secondary education in business or related field is preferred
- experience in the waste industry
- Able to prioritize work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Independent worker/self-starter as well as working as a team
- Capable of working under stressful circumstances, where demands and deadlines shift frequently
- Well-developed organization and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PDF formats
- Valid driver’s license
