We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative Business Development Representative to join our sales team. This is a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy professional who is passionate about the future of sales.

In this role, you will be a key driver of our sales pipeline, leveraging cutting-edge AI technology to identify and engage with qualified prospects.

This position is a launchpad for a successful career in sales, with a clear path to an Account Executive role.

Key Responsibilities

  • AI Prospecting: Act as the primary manager of our AI prospecting tools. You will train, optimize, and oversee the performance of the AI SDR to build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-quality leads.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Target and penetrate enterprise and mid-market accounts within key industries such as restaurants, retail, grocery, hospitality, and petro-convenience.
  • Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, utilizing sales insights available across our tech-stack to ensure a strong fit with our ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Multi-Channel Engagement: Execute personalized, multi-channel outreach campaigns (email, phone, and social selling) to engage decision-makers and schedule discovery meetings.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Support a team of three Account Executives by providing them with a steady stream of qualified opportunities and relevant prospect intelligence.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all prospecting activities and interactions in our CRM system, ensuring a seamless handoff to the sales team.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and new market opportunities to continuously refine prospecting strategies.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a B2B Business Development, Sales, or similar role, preferably within a solutions environment.

  • Proven experience with B2B outbound prospecting and lead generation.

  • A strong interest in and working knowledge of AI tools and their application in the sales process.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and a talent for relationship building, with the ability to influence decision makers.

  • A proactive, self-starter mentality with excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. HubSpot) and sales engagement platforms.

  • A passion for technology and a desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  • Salary - $50k - $60k, plus target-based variable compensation
