Role Description The Volunteer Partnerships Manager is a remote Volunteering Role responsible for building and managing relationships with organizations, institutions, and community groups to expand IWIL IGNITE’s volunteer network and impact. Day-to-day work includes identifying and qualifying partnership opportunities, coordinating outreach, and developing collaboration plans that connect volunteers with relevant programs and initiatives. This role will manage partner communications, track partnership activities, and ensure a positive, consistent experience for volunteer partners and stakeholders. The Volunteer Partnerships Manager will also analyze partnership performance, provide regular reports, and collaborate with program and marketing teams to support recruitment, engagement, and retention of volunteers. The position involves working independently, attending virtual meetings, and maintaining accurate records in CRM or tracking tools.

Qualifications Strong relationship-building skills in Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships, with experience initiating, nurturing, and sustaining collaborations. Account Management and Communication skills to manage partner expectations, coordinate activities, and deliver clear, professional updates. Analytical Skills to evaluate partnership performance, interpret data, and make informed recommendations for improvement. Experience working with nonprofits, education, workforce development, or technology-related initiatives is beneficial. Proficiency with digital collaboration tools and CRM or partnership tracking systems. Ability to work remotely, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. Commitment to inclusive digital education, ethical AI, and equitable access to technology learning opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Communications, Business, Public Administration, Education) or equivalent experience. What You'll Do

• Identify and cultivate relationships with corporations, nonprofits, educational institutions, accelerators, and community organizations.
• Develop partnership proposals, sponsorship opportunities, and collaborative initiatives.
• Support co-marketing campaigns, events, and community engagement activities.
• Help grow iWIL Ignite's partner ecosystem across Canada and internationally.
• Create simple partnership processes, resources, and best practices to support long-term growth.
