We are looking for a Senior Artist to join the Dead by Daylight team and bring its signature horror world to life through high-quality, immersive assets. In this role, you will create visually striking models that balance artistic intent with in-game performance, collaborating closely with art direction to translate creative vision into compelling gameplay experiences.
In this role you will
Lead the creation and in-engine integration of high-quality assets within Unreal Engine. Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve asset and integration issues to maintain quality standards. Translate art direction into consistent, production-ready assets. Partner closely with the Technical Lead on quality and performance. Act as a key contributor across the production pipeline, supporting team needs and driving solutions. Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
What we're looking for
Strong proficiency in polygonal modeling, including both hard-surface and organic assets. Solid understanding of Levels of Detail (LOD) and real-time optimization techniques to ensure strong in-game performance. Good working knowledge of UV unwrapping. Experience working within Unreal Engine. Ability to interpret and execute from art briefs and style guides with consistency. Familiarity with Blender is an asset.
