Part-time or Full-time Registered Midwife to work on Vancouver Island, British Columbia

Nanaimo, British Columbia
Mid Level
Part-Time

About the role

Come work as a registered midwife on Vancouver Island. I am looking for someone to join me in a community-focused practice providing full-scope midwifery care from early pregnancy through six weeks postpartum. I support informed choice, inclusive care, and both home and hospital births (homebirth rate ~10–20%).

Nanaimo Regional Hospital has excellent nurses, collaborative OBs, and a supportive internal medicine consultant and our hospital birth unit features beautiful labour and delivery suites.

Caseload Presently I have a caseload of approximately 6 clients a month but there is demand in our community. I could increase it so you work part-time or even more so you work full-time. I am flexible.
