Join our highly regarded Investment Planning Counsel office located in Sherwood Park, Alberta. We are a full-service advisory firm, who take pride in providing comprehensive wealth planning strategies in a well appointed office environment.

Our Sherwood Park team members are not just financial planning professionals; we are community leaders and partners. You would be joining an energetic, hard- working, culture-focused team that is deeply passionate about supporting local community organizations and making a difference in the lives of the families we serve.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate willing to help grow the business. You would also have the daily support of our experienced administrative client experience specialists.

What You Will Do

  • Provide an exceptional client experience and respond to all client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Learn and practice our award-winning financial planning process
  • Use our financial planning software to build and update financial plans
  • Prepare required paperwork and process accurately to ensure compliance
  • Monitor investment portfolios on an ongoing basis for suitability
  • Research products approved for sale through IPC Securities Corporation and IPC Investment Corporation
  • Collaborate with the Pinnacle team to deliver on team goals, provide coverage and train new team members
  • Relationship-building skills with a commitment to establishing long-term client relationships
  • Ability to leverage technology to enhance client experiences
  • Strong desire for performance-driven compensation
  • A self-motivated, highly driven and entrepreneurial personality
  • Abilty to think critically and use sound judgment when serving clients

What You Will Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Business or a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working within the financial services industry
  • Completion of CSC/IFIC required
  • Securities (IIROC) license required
  • Professional accreditation (CFP, CIM, or equivalent) is considered an asset

The base salary for this position is between**$59,800 - $99,700**annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
