The position requires the candidate to be based in Vancouver or Toronto.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a regional team of Market Managers responsible for identifying, acquiring, and managing successful hotel partnerships across Canada and Central U.S.
- Develop and implement regional business strategies and promotional initiatives with partners to enhance productivity and growth.
- Conduct data-driven performance analysis, interpret market trends, and support product optimization to maintain Trip.com’s competitive position.
- Represent Trip.com at relevant industry events, tradeshows, and workshops to strengthen brand visibility and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across internal teams and external partners.
- Collaborate closely with Trip.com headquarters on strategic planning, project implementation, and cross-market coordination.
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members to build a high-performing, engaged workforce.
Qualifications
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, partner management, or account management within the online travel or hospitality industry.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, with a proven record of achieving ambitious targets.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- In-depth understanding of the North American hospitality market, particularly Canada and the U.S.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey value propositions clearly to partners.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving business environment.
- Willingness to travel within Canada, the U.S., and occasionally internationally.
