The Opportunity As Director, Enterprise and Operational Systems, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how eHealth delivers operational technology services across Saskatchewan’s health system. To do this you’ll lead provincial application services teams, drive digital transformation initiatives, and strengthen partnerships with health sector organizations. What You’ll Do Reporting to the Executive Director, Enterprise Business Services & Chief Digital Information Officer, you will:

  • Lead provincial application services teams and oversee delivery of IT operational services across Saskatchewan’s health system.
  • Align branch initiatives with organizational and provincial strategic priorities.
  • Build coalitions and foster collaboration with partners such as SHA, 3S Health, Saskatchewan Cancer Agency, HQC, Athabasca Health Authority, and the Ministry of Health.
  • Develop and maintain strategic plans and roadmaps for enterprise systems and services.
  • Provide leadership in identifying, developing, and implementing opportunities to improve service quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Manage operational capacity and demand while balancing strategic initiatives.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending adoption and improvements.
  • Oversee operational and project budgets, ensuring accountability and alignment with government growth plans.
  • Mentor, coach, and guide your team to foster professional growth and service excellence.

  • Extensive senior leadership experience with proven ability to lead, direct, and manage professionals.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree in business, technology, or health-related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in a similar scope.
  • Demonstrated portfolio management experience including budget, procurement, and people leadership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven experience managing or sponsoring strategic projects at the provincial or national level.
