Calian est fière de poursuivre une relation contractuelle de longue date avec le ministère de la Défense nationale (MDN) pour fournir des services de soins de santé aux Forces armées canadiennes. Par l’entremise de notre Contrats de Soins de Santé, Calian embauches des professionnels de la santé partout à travers le Canada qui contribuent à la santé et au bien-être de nos militaires.

Nous sommes actuellement à la recherche d’un(e) infirmier(ère) motivé(e) et engagé(e) pour se joindre à l’équipe de la clinique médicale de la Base des Forces armées canadiennes de Montréal (Longue-Pointe), dans un rôle à temps plein au sein des soins de première ligne.

Responsabilités

En Tant Qu’infirmier(ère) En Soins Primaires, Vous Jouerez Un Rôle Essentiel Dans Le Soutien à La Santé Globale Des Membres Des Forces Armées Canadiennes. Vos Responsabilités Incluront :

Fournir des soins de santé primaires complets, incluant l’évaluation, le dépistage, l’enseignement et la gestion des maladies chroniques. Collaborer étroitement avec une équipe multidisciplinaire composée de médecins, d’infirmières praticiennes et d’adjoints au médecin. Superviser le flux des patients au sein de votre unité de prestation de soins (UPS) et assurer un suivi rigoureux des plans de soins. Offrir des soins à des patients avec ou sans rendez-vous, présentant des besoins variés : santé physique ou mentale, conditions aiguës ou chroniques, ou encore santé au travail.

Qualifications

Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit. Diplôme en sciences infirmières (baccalauréat ou DEC) d’un établissement reconnu. Permis de pratique valide de l’Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ). Certification RCR/DEA niveau C à jour (ou volonté de l’obtenir). Minimum d’un an d’expérience récente équivalente à temps plein dans un milieu de soins ambulatoires, de médecine familiale ou en établissement de santé (ex. : centre hospitalier, CLSC). Le candidat retenu doit être admissible à l’obtention d’une cote de sécurité de niveau Fiabilité délivrée par Services publics et Approvisionnement Canada (SPAC).

About The Role

Calian is proud to continue its longstanding partnership with the Department of National Defence (DND), providing healthcare services to members of the Canadian Armed Forces. Through our Healthcare Contracts, Calian employs healthcare professionals across Canada who play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of military personnel.

We are currently seeking a motivated and dedicated Bilingual Primary Care Nurse to join the medical clinic team at Canadian Forces Base Montreal (Longue-Pointe) in a full-time primary care role.

Responsibilities

As a Primary Care Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the overall health and wellness of Canadian Armed Forces members. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing comprehensive primary healthcare services, including patient assessment, screening, health education, and chronic disease management. Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Coordinating patient flow within your Care Delivery Unit (CDU) and ensuring thorough follow-up on treatment and care plans. Delivering care to both scheduled and walk-in patients with a wide range of healthcare needs, including physical and mental health concerns, acute and chronic conditions, and occupational health matters.

Qualifications

Must be fluently bilingual (English & French)

Diploma or degree in Nursing from a recognized post-secondary institution. Current and unrestricted registration with the Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ). Current CPR/AED Level C certification, or willingness to obtain certification. Minimum of one year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting, family practice clinic, or healthcare facility such as a hospital or CLSC. Must be eligible to obtain a Reliability Status Security Clearance issued through Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC).

Additional Information

Contract position with the possibility of extension

Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day) Stable schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
