Accounts Payable Administrator
About the role
Stream-Flo Industries Ltd. is currently seeking a full-time permanent Accounts Payable Administrator to work with our team in Edmonton, AB.
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for processing payments to vendors in accordance with internal procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Match purchase orders / receipt registers to invoices
- Enter data to the ERP system
- Stamp and code paperwork with invoice information
- Assign GL coding to invoices where required
- Stamp and code paperwork with invoice information
- Prepare invoices for payment by ACH, Cheque and Wire transfer
- Manage approval requirements for various payment types
- Process Wire Transfers in Royal Bank Express
- Prepare all payments for payroll department that are not a part of the bi weekly payroll process
- Maintain vendor banking information
- Maintain vendor files
- File and organize backup
- Troubleshoot with branches and purchasers regarding GL codes and questions that arise regarding purchases and vendors
- Maintain a good relationship with all vendors
- Help accountants with paperwork needed for GL reconciliations
- Assist in the training of other AP personnel in new SAP system
Qualifications:

Minimum 1 to 2 years of Accounts Payable experience

SAP experience is preferred

Familiarity with processing payments in various systems

Proven communication skills

Comfortable with MS Excel

Attention to detail and adherence to corporate procedures

Aptitude for numbers and strong quantitative skills

Able to work effectively in a team environment

Solid problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.

Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Strong interpersonal skills.

Well organized and self-motivated.
