What You Will Accomplish With Us As a claims technician, you will be at the heart of our mission. Here are your main responsibilities:
- Prepare and compile individual insurance claim files.
- Identify the elements required for analysis and follow up on missing documents.
- Enter information into the administrative system and forward complete files to analysts.
- Enter decisions and ensure their traceability.
- Contact hospitals, medical clinics, and provincial registries across Canada to obtain medical reports and follow up on them.
What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Position We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a college diploma in administration or a related field (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Has at least 2 years of customer service experience in the insurance industry (a significant asset).
- Is known for their excellent organizational skills, thoroughness, and ability to manage several varied tasks simultaneously.
- Stands out for their proactivity and ability to anticipate and resolve situations.
- Is known for their collaborative spirit and openness to asking questions.
- Demonstrates an intermediate level of English, as the person will be required to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external partners and clients on a weekly basis.
