Temporary Colony Educational Assistant – approximately 27 hours/week
Assignment Includes: Monday – Thursday - 8:45 a.m. – 3:25 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 11:40 a.m.
We are seeking a temporary education assistant, with a start date as soon as possible and end February 27, 2026, or upon return of the person on leave, whichever should occur first.
The school day starts at 8:45 and ends at 3:25 on Monday to Thursday. On Friday, the school day ends at 11:40.
Ideally, candidates will:

be prepared to always demonstrate respect for Hutterite culture, traditions and beliefs

have a positive attitude about children, learning and schools
-
have a critical role in instruction, under the supervision of the teacher
-
be able to work well independently, with the teacher and the school team
-
provide support to students with small group instruction in the primary grades
-
support English as an Additional Language Learners in language acquisition (primarily in early literacy and numeracy)
