About the role
Role : IT Delivery Manager Duration : 6 Months (Highly chance to extends) Location : Toronto, ON (4 days in week onsite)
Team & Project Overview Opportunity to work within the Retail Credit Risk Technology organization. Looking for an experienced IT Delivery Manager/Scrum Master who can lead complex technology initiatives from planning through production deployment. This is a highly technical delivery role rather than a traditional Scrum Master position.
Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end delivery of technology initiatives involving Cloud, AI/ML, and Data Pipelines. Coordinate technology implementation from development through production readiness. Understand technical dependencies, risks, release readiness, and implementation challenges. Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders. Own project plans, resource planning, delivery timelines, and budget management. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule with proper governance and execution.
Must-Have Skills Strong IT Delivery Management experience leading enterprise technology projects. Experience delivering Cloud-based and Machine Learning/AI initiatives. Ability to own end-to-end project plans from planning to production deployment.
Previous hands-on technical background such as: Software Developer QA Engineer Technical Lead Solution Engineer
Strong understanding of: Cloud deployments Technical dependencies Production readiness Data pipelines Release management Experience managing project budgets, resources, and delivery plans. Familiarity with Generative AI tools for project planning, reporting, documentation, or status tracking. Banking or Financial Services experience is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications Banking or Financial Institution experience. Experience within Risk, Credit Risk, or similar technology environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
