Position: Dental Assistant
Location: NE, Calgary
Clinic: Memorial Square Dental
We are excited to add a Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to our amazing, dedicated team to complement a new dentist we are adding to the team!
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing, detail-oriented, and passionate about their career. A strong team spirit is a must! You’ll be joining a clinic with exceptional dentists and a supportive clinical and administrative team.
Specifics about the role:
- Job Type: Part Time
- Schedule: 3 days a week, two evenings and every Saturday. (Tues, Weds and Sat)
- Tues: 12 pm-7 pm.
- Wed: 11 am-7 pm,
- Sat: 8 am-3:30 pm.
What you’ll do:
- Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
- Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
- Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
- Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Experience as a Dental Assistant is an asset but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Experience using Dentrix would be considered an asset.
- Ortho Module will be beneficial but not necessary
- Mutilingual, previous scanner knowledge will be beneficial
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant and in good standing with the CADA.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
- Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
