About the role

About the Company

Subway Bottle Exchange is in Bible Hill and is an award-winning Enviro-Depot specializing in recycling beverage containers, scrap metal (copper, aluminum), and other materials. It acts as a community hub for refunding container deposits, ensuring high-efficiency waste diversion.

We are currently seeking an energetic and safe-minded bottle sorter to join our team.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

Help unload and sort customer bottle products

Keep a professional attitude when assisting customers Assist machine operators and other staff as needed.

Accurately label and tag products

Maintain a clean and tidy work area Upkeeping safety procedures Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management Other labor duties as necessary

Qualifications and Skills

Previous experience doing bottle sorting is an asset

Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently Full PPE (CSA Steel toes, Gloves, Glasses, safety Vest, Hard Hat) Safety driven mindset Clear communication skills Comfortable working in all weather conditions

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturdays from 8am - 12pm

Pay Rate is $16.75/hr
