Recycling Facility Sorter
Tomlinson Environmental Services is looking for Recycling Facility Sorters for our Carp construction and demolition recycling facility. This position involves sorting and picking the waste material by hand and placing the material in the corresponding bins based on the type of material. Sorters are responsible for maintaining a clean work area, and working well with others.
Job Location: Carp, ON
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Sort construction waste material Place construction waste material in bins Clean equipment as scheduled Perform daily safety and maintenance checks Ensure clean work environment REQUIREMENTS: WORKING CONDITIONS Outdoor/indoor Long periods of standing Hours of work 7:00am-5:00pm EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Labour experience would be considered an asset Mechanically inclined would be considered an asset COMPENSATION INFORMATION The expected hourly rate range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.
