Schedule/Location of Work:
We are currently hiring for Day Shift Position with a consistent, work-life-friendly schedule:
10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday)
6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Based at our facility in Rosenort, MB (just 35 minutes south of Winnipeg)

About the Role:
As the Team Leader for Manufacturing at KA Group, your role is pivotal in overseeing and coordinating the production activities to ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of earthmoving equipment. This position requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with production planners and department team lead to develop schedules and allocate resources effectively to meet production targets on the cutting tables.
- Ensure accurate nesting processes to optimize material usage and reduce waste.
- Ensure work orders are properly closed and completed on time.
- Collaborate with the department team lead on rush order processes ensuring optimal turn around.
- Effective time management is expected daily to achieve efficiencies and expected output.
- Daily clock ins are required using ADP, along with vacation requests, PTO requests.
Skills & Abilities
- Proficiency in CAD software or specific nesting software like Pro Nest) to create and modify cutting paths.
- Ability to calculate areas, dimensions, and material requirements for parts and nests.
- Ability to visualize how parts will fit together in a nest and how the plasma cutter will operate on a 2D surface.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNC plasma operation experience 1yr minimum

- Must reside in Manitoba
- Possess a valid class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to commute to our facility in Rosenort, Manitoba
