About the role

Overview:

As a Credit Administrative Student, you will be responsible for supporting the Credit team, branch network, and customers, accurately processing payments, while effectively facilitating customers’ needs. The successful candidate is committed to providing outstanding customer service along with the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Note that this is an eight-month co-op placement from January to August 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate internal and external requests for invoice, statement, and proof of delivery copies
  • Facilitate new customer credit application process
  • Process and maintain virtual terminal customer credit card payments
  • Answer and facilitate incoming calls from customers and branch teammates
  • Upload invoices in customers’ on-line AP portal
  • Call customers for past due payment
  • Update Billtrust customer files as required
  • Update Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, and Job Aids as required
  • Clear AR, Billing, and Credit mailboxes intermittently throughout the day and facilitate related requests
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service skills
  • Proven track record of strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to call clients with confidence
  • Strong research and strategic analysis skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to understand reconciliation
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • High degree of self-motivation and ambition

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be enrolled in a Business program or other such comparable field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Word
