Senior Frontend Software Engineer 📍 Leuven, Belgium | 💼 Industry: Financial Services / IT Consulting About The Role We are looking for a Senior Frontend Software Engineer with strong Angular expertise to join an IT development team in the financial services industry . You’ll play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality frontend applications within an Agile environment.
What You’ll Do
- Translate functional specifications into technical designs and code.
- Build and structure frontend applications with Angular & TypeScript.
- Write and execute test cases; resolve defects and incidents.
- Conduct self and peer code reviews to ensure quality.
- Perform integration testing with interfacing applications.
- Contribute to continuous improvement within Agile teams.
What We’re Looking For ✅ 5+ years of frontend development experience.
✅ Excellent Angular skills (absolute must).
✅ Strong Knowledge Of
- TypeScript / Angular / NPM
- JavaScript
- GitHub / BitBucket (incl. Actions)
- Docker / Kubernetes
- Java / Spring Boot
- AWS (S3)
- Nginx
Soft Skills
- Analytical & problem-solving mindset.
- Independent yet collaborative.
- Agile methodology experience.
- Eager to learn, result-driven.
