About the role
Under the direction of the Director of Infrastructure and Asset Management, you will be part of a team of multidisciplinary project managers, engineers, and technicians to coordinate development, automation, and intelligence projects for building management and predictive maintenance across all BRP manufacturing sites. You will play a key role in modernizing our infrastructure processes. Your contribution will have direct impacts on operational efficiency, our environmental performance, and the excellence of our in-house maintenance teams.
YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:
For building management systems (BMS), ensure that BMS software is integrated with the equipment. This involves programming control sequences in various software environments (Entelliweb, Guide TI, AutoCAD Construction Cloud, Tractian, etc.).
Collaborate on building efficiency programs by monitoring and optimizing controls in real time using data, technology, and automation.
Develop and document building mechanical standards for all BRP manufacturing sites.
Create dynamic dashboards using tools like Power BI for maintenance departments.
Participate in predictive maintenance implementation projects collaboratively using software such as Tractian, Augury, or Senseye with the global planner.
Learn and configure the modules of our CMMS (Guide TI) to optimize its use.
Train key personnel across our manufacturing sites (Canada, USA, Mexico) to ensure the effective adoption of the developed tools.
Contribute to the implementation of the transition to BIM, particularly by supporting the transfer of 2D plans to 3D.
Update drawings.
YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
A college diploma or university degree in engineering or a related field (automation, building mechanics, electricity, software engineering).
2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a technical, manufacturing, or automation environment.
Strong autonomy and a sense of initiative.
Natural leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, and curiosity.
The ability to innovate, develop new solutions, and structure processes.
Advanced knowledge in data visualization, dashboard development, "Smart Building" technology, etc.
Functional knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and Power BI.
Proficiency in both oral and written English and French.
Excellent communication skills.
The ability to travel occasionally (a few days per quarter) to our various sites in North America (Canada, USA, Mexico).
