About the role
Financial Analyst (Contract with Strong Potential to Go Permanent) Mississauga (Hybrid) $35-$40/hour
Duration: 2-3 Month Contract with a High Likelihood of Permanent Employment
Our client is looking for a hands on Financial Analyst to join their collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and can quickly make an impact.
What You'll Do Support commercial finance, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities Analyze expenses, trade spend, and budget variances Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and business insights Partner with Sales, Accounting, and cross-functional teams to support decision-making Assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and finance operations Help improve reporting processes and drive efficiencies using Excel and BI tools
What We're Looking For 3-5 years of Financial Analysis, FP&A, or Commercial Finance experience Experience within the CPG, retail, consumer products, or sales-driven industry is required Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, Macros) Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business CPA (or working toward it) is an asset Experience with Oracle, Salesforce, or AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus
