Location: Coquitlam - Hybrid/Remote Position Type: Full-time Department: Sales Compensation: $70,000-$80,000 + Commission
Position Summary We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive to drive new business acquisition for Vistera across the BC market. This is a hunter role. You will own the full sales cycle – from outbound prospecting and pipeline development through to close – with a clear mandate to build Vistera's subscriber base from the ground up.
You will be part of the founding commercial team, working directly with senior revenue leadership, and you will have the opportunity to influence how the sales motion evolves. Responsibilities Business Development & Pipeline Prospect, qualify, and close net-new Vistera subscribers across the BC SMB market Build and maintain a healthy outbound pipeline in Apollo through targeted outreach, networking, referrals, and partnership channels Execute a consultative sales motion that connects Vistera's AI and expert network capabilities to real business problems SMB owners face Convert advisory engagements and free trial users into paid platform subscribers As Vistera's subscriber base grows, maintain and develop your book of business – owning renewal conversations, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring clients are realizing value until a dedicated Client Success function is in place
Sales Execution Own monthly and quarterly bookings targets with full accountability for your number Manage your pipeline with discipline – accurate stage progression, forecast integrity, and hygiene in Zoho CRM Collaborate with marketing on demand generation campaigns and refine messaging based on market feedback Develop pricing and packaging instincts, contributing recommendations to senior leadership as the product matures
Market Presence Serve as Vistera's commercial representative in the BC market Build relationships with SMB owners, operators, accountants, lawyers, and HR professionals who can refer or champion Vistera Represent Vistera at local business events, associations, and community touchpoints relevant to the SMB segment
Account Ownership Maintain ongoing relationships with your closed accounts, serving as their primary point of contact post-sale Monitor account health and proactively identify risks to retention or opportunities for expansion Own renewal and upsell conversations within your book of business Transition accounts smoothly to Client Success as that function is built out
What You Bring 5+ years of B2B sales experience with a demonstrated track record of hitting or exceeding quota, including demonstrated success in outbound-led or early-stage environments Experience selling technology or SaaS products – you understand subscription sales motions and how to close platform deals Strong outbound capability – you know how to build a pipeline from scratch, not just manage inbound leads Comfort owning the post-sale relationship – you can close a deal and keep the client, not just hand them off Consultative selling skills – you ask great questions, understand the buyer's world, and connect solutions to outcomes CRM discipline – you manage your pipeline rigorously and understand why clean data matters Exceptional written and verbal communication – you can run a compelling discovery call and write a follow-up that moves deals forward
Strongly Preferred Background selling into or adjacent to legal, HR, finance, or professional services – you understand the buyer and can speak their language Experience selling AI-powered tools or platforms – you can articulate the value of AI to a skeptical SMB audience Familiarity with the BC SMB landscape – existing relationships are a genuine advantage Early-stage or startup experience – you are comfortable building process as you go and don't need a mature playbook handed to you
