About this opportunity:
- We are now looking for a Product Support Professional to join our team in RTE CX TS AMER in Ottawa.
- As a member of the team, you will providing technical support to customers utilizing our products This job demands close interaction with BNEW Development teams, Systems & Technology, and Product Line and Customers.
- This role will give excellent opportunity to be exposed to various functions across the EUs as well as to the EU Leadership team.
What you will do:
- Drive and support investigation and analysis of customer issues according to established processes (CSR, Design consultations, TRs etc) and be an interface to design for issue resolution.
- Interact with customers professionally and courteously to understand their technical issues and provide appropriate solutions.
- Perform fault reproduction during the troubleshooting in Ericsson environment (e.g. labs).
- Support 24/7 emergencies, FTS (follow the sun) and on call duties.
- Collaboration with design teams during the initial stages of product development to offer insights based on real-world product behavior and usage in the field.
- Support and execute deployment activities in own lab or network environment, and in a customer network.
- Enhance technical proficiency through knowledge sharing, training, mentorship, and continuous learning initiatives.
- Have broad RAN/ERS knowledge with the ability to dive into specific areas.
- Have Customer Insight and mindset.
- Deliver Results and Meet Customer Expectations.
- Address Customers and Senior management concerns and inquiries.
The skills you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Masters preferred) in relevant science or engineering.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and make informed decisions to overcome challenges during the solution development process.
- Independent worker.
- Self Learning mindset.
- High degree of flexibility to work in a changing environment.
- Ability to work under intense customer pressure.
- Comfortable working in the lab.

Your Pay
The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is
Bachelors- $ 82,175 CAD
Masters- $ 90,825 CAD
Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Sales Incentive Plan: Your pay also includes the opportunity for sales incentives as a part of Ericsson’s Sales Incentive Plan. Actual payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit’s objectives, individual performance, and the individual incentive target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.
Your Health
Ericsson offers excellent health benefits including the choice of 2 medical and dental plan options that allow an employee to select the level of coverage that suits their needs. Employees will receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of the Deluxe medical and dental plan coverages for themselves and eligible covered dependents.
Your Financial Security
We invest in both your short and long-term financial wellbeing. Ericsson’s Group Retirement & Savings Program offers an automatic 2% company contribution into the Pension Plan. Ericsson also offers a 50% match of employee’s contribution into the Registered Retirement Savings Plan, up to 8% of the employee’s contribution (maximum of 4% match). This leads to a total company contribution potential of 6%. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson’s Stock Purchase Plan.
Your Time
Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 18 days of accrued vacation, 3-5 personal days (depending on role), 10 holidays, 1 volunteer day, and sick days. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 10 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
