XNRGY is a North American leader in sustainable, large-scale climate control solutions for data centers, healthcare, life sciences, clean rooms, and industrial applications. We design, engineer, and manufacture advanced custom air handling, cooling, dehumidification, and energy-efficient HVAC systems that help our clients achieve operational excellence and decarbonization goals.

With our 400,000-sq-ft headquarters in Longueuil and our state-of-the-art facility in Mesa, Arizona, we are redefining what clean-technology manufacturing looks like—combining deep engineering expertise with smart digital systems and AI-enabled insights.

Our mission: Engineer a greener future, one system at a time.

Position Summary

The Engineering Process Analyst is the connective tissue between Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing—the person who ensures that great designs flow seamlessly into efficient, reliable, and data-driven production.

This is not a documentation or oversight role; it’s for a builder who wants to design, implement, and own cross-functional processes that scale a fast-growing manufacturing organization. You’ll leverage your analytical mindset, systems understanding, and comfort with data and light coding (Python, Power Query, or similar) to turn inefficiencies into opportunities for automation and measurable impact.

If you are driven, curious, and hungry to make an impact, this role gives you the runway to shape how an engineering-driven company manufactures the next generation of sustainable HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Process Mapping & Optimization
  • Analyze and map end-to-end workflows between departments including Engineering, Procurement, Planning, and Manufacturing.
  • Identify inefficiencies, handoff issues, and root causes; propose measurable solutions.
  • Design future-state processes that simplify, integrate, and scale using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop standard work, control plans, and governance mechanisms to anchor repeatability and quality.
  1. Systems Integration & Automation
  • Translate process designs into system logic within ERP, MES, PLM, and Quality systems.
  • Partner with IT, MES, and Enterprise Applications teams to enable automation, data validation, and AI-assisted insights.
  • Develop lightweight automation scripts or tools (Python, VBA, Power Automate, or SQL) to reduce manual effort and improve visibility.
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and iterative rollout of process improvements.
  1. Implementation & Continuous Improvement
  • Run pilots, monitor results, gather feedback, and drive rapid iteration cycles.
  • Track process performance via dashboards, metrics, and KPIs (e.g., ECO cycle time, first-pass yield).
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) sessions with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Build and maintain robust process documentation, SOPs, and onboarding materials.
  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the interface among Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and IT.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment between system data, documentation, and shop-floor reality.
  • Support program and project managers in achieving on-time, on-budget deliverables.
  • Coordinate feedback loops from manufacturing and service back into design and planning.
  1. Illustrative Applications (examples, not focus areas)
  • Support initiatives such as digital traceability, data validation, or AI-driven reporting.
  • Partner with automation leads to enhance CAD-to-CAM or design-to-floor transitions.
  • Ensure process readiness for new product introductions, configuration changes, or design transfers.

Key Deliverables

  • Complete Engineering-to-Production Process Blueprint (future-state workflows and governance).
  • Implemented cross-functional workflows with embedded KPIs and automated checkpoints.
  • Live dashboards monitoring cycle time, compliance, throughput, and data integrity.
  • Quantified improvements in process efficiency, error reduction, and cross-team coordination.
  • Up-to-date process playbooks and training materials accessible to all stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years in process engineering, operations analysis, or manufacturing systems roles within an engineered-to-order environment.
  • Experience designing and implementing workflows across ERP, MES, and PLM platforms.
  • Proficiency in process design tools (Visio, Miro, Lucidchart) and data analytics (Excel, Power BI, or similar).
  • Foundational coding or scripting ability (Python, SQL, VBA, Power Automate, or equivalent).
  • Awareness of AI tools for process optimization, analytics, and documentation assistance.
  • Hands-on experience with Lean / Six Sigma / Root Cause Analysis techniques.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and cross-functional alignment skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, outcome-driven, and resilient—thrives on making real impact in fast-moving environments.

Preferred

  • Experience in HVAC, thermal systems, or complex capital equipment manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with ECO/ECR, revision control standards, and document management best practices.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001, NC/CAPA, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to AI-driven process improvement tools, data modeling, or machine-learning-based analytics.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.

Core Competencies

  • Driven & impact-oriented – actively seeks responsibility, challenges norms, and delivers results.
  • Analytical systems thinker – connects data, process, and technology to business value.
  • Digital & automation mindset – comfortable using AI tools and light scripting to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborative problem solver – bridges engineering, operations, and IT with clarity and diplomacy.
  • Builder mentality – converts process theory into practical, tested, and adopted solutions.
