Registered Nurse (RN) – Correctional Centre
We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a Correctional Centre. This role focuses on urgent care, emergency response, mental health support, and essential healthcare services within a secure correctional environment.
Work Environment
Focus on urgent/emergency care and mental health Free on-site parking Staff room with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker No on-site cafeteria (nearby food options available)
Required Qualifications
Active British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) RN license in good standing BLS certification (or higher) Canadian Police Information Check (CPIC) with Vulnerable Sector clearance (must clear BC Corrections) Strong acute care and mental health experience Willingness to complete pre-site EMR and safety training Preferred: Intermediate OFA (formerly OFA Level 2)
