About the role
Dispatcher (Afternoon Shift | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM)
We’re looking for a dependable Dispatcher to help keep daily transportation operations running smoothly. In this role, you’ll serve as the central point of coordination—monitoring trucks, supporting drivers, and ensuring schedules stay on track throughout your shift.
You’ll be responsible for planning and organizing dispatch activities, maintaining real-time visibility of truck locations and driver hours, and communicating clearly with drivers and internal teams. Attention to detail is key, as you’ll be managing multiple moving parts and helping resolve issues as they arise. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, staying organized, and taking ownership of operational flow.
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are important, as you’ll regularly share updates, request information, and collaborate across teams. We value individuals who are proactive, open to continuous improvement, and interested in creating efficiencies within the operation.
Experience working in a labor-focused or transportation environment is highly valued. Familiarity with TruckMate or a similar Transportation Management System (TMS) is a plus, but not required.
