Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of metal fabrication experience within the sign industry .
- Strong ability to read and interpret drawings and fabrication designs.
- Proficient with tools , equipment , and machinery such as shear , roller , brake press.
- Some welding experience for tacking / fitting.
- Demonstrated leadership or lead-hand experience.
- Strong communication , organization , and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.
Key Responsibilities.
- Lead and support the metal fabrication team in daily tasks and productions goals .
- Fabricate sign components using industry-standard equipment including Shears , rollers, brake press ,grinders and various hand tools.
- Read and interpret technical drawings , blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure accuracy , quality , and consistency in all fabricated components .
- Coordinate workflow , delegate tasks , and monitor progress.
- Train and mentor junior fabricators , promote safe work practices
- Assist with problem-solving , improvements , and fabrication planning
- Work closely with other supervisors and departments to meet deadlines
- Maintain a clean , organized , and safe work environment
