About the role

Marketing Assistant (Co-op Position) Business Development Mississauga, ON Pinchin has an exciting opportunity for a 4 or 8-month co-op student to join the Mississauga Business Development Group as a Marketing Assistant for the Winter/Spring 2026 term.

Reporting to the Manager, Regional Marketing and working collaboratively with the Marketing and Proposal team members, the Marketing Assistant will add value to Pinchin’s client and business development initiatives.

A Day in the life of a Marketing Assistant at Pinchin:

  • Providing support to progress initiatives and help facilitate workload management during Vacation coverage.

  • Inbound Opportunities support (calls, emails)

  • Proposal and Marketing content on Pinchin’s SharePoint site (Orchard)

  • Update, Digitize, organize, tag and upload files onto SharePoint site

  • BD events initiative

  • Event registration and execution (ie tradeshows, collateral, sponsorships)

  • Market Research (Associations, Competition, Sector analysis)

  • Complete other marketing and proposal initiatives as assigned.

What You Bring To The Pinchin Team

  • Completion of at least one year of a business, marketing, or communications degree program
  • Previous work experience in a client development, business, marketing, sales, retail, or customer service role is preferred but not required
  • Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation)
  • Excellent organization skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to multi-task and work collaboratively with others
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products and internet platforms; specifically including Excel, advanced Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Previous work experience with SharePoint would be considered an asset
  • Understanding of the environmental or engineering consulting industry would be considered an asset
