To Be Successful As Our Chef, You Will
- Be a graduate of Chef Training or have a Diploma in Culinary Management from an accredited college or equivalent
- Valid Food Safety Certification
- Current Smart Serve Certification
- Have flexibility to work a variety of different shifts including days, evenings, weekends (including holidays)
- Have a passion for menu and recipe development
- Knowledge of cost control
- Experience in coaching and developing teams
- Understand the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the Chef role
It would be an asset if our new Chef has:
- Acquired a Red Seal designation
- Possesses an understanding of therapeutic diets
- Knowledge of relevant policies, procedures, legislation, regulations and best practices applicable to senior living
