Photography Department Coordinator
Reports to: Photography Manager

The role
In this role, the incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and servicing all photography equipment including inventory and maintaining a clean and organized storage area. This role will also help to train and support photographers in the field as needed.
What you will focus on
- Photograph as assigned, in the Territories or Studio for all programs
- Provide support for photographers as needed, including but not limited to:
- Photography department written workflows and processes
- Technical and Program support according to photography department manuals
- Responsible for overseeing equipment management, including but not limited to:
- Creating, interpreting and providing supporting documentation that will be used for tracking, inventory, organization, storage, maintenance, repairs and part replacement.
- Documenting purchases and depreciation of required photography equipment, including photographer apparel.
- Tracking distribution of equipment allocation to the Territories.
- Responsible for Photographer training and development, including but not limited to:
- Field supervision, training, mentoring and quality control.
- Reviewing images and providing regular and consistent feedback to photography teams in quality control, support, and mentoring
- Communicate photography department matters effectively.
- Assisting in all the ‘train the trainer’ photography training sessions to new and returning photographers in various territories through the year.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of photography manuals and presentations.
- Have detailed knowledge of all Edge Imaging photography programs and procedures to support the Photography Manager and Territory Managers in the implementation of these programs
- Collaborate with the Photographer Manager, Territory managers, Leads and Senior Photographers to provide locations and appropriate equipment needed for photography training sessions.
- Exhibit the highest standards of professionalism and be a consummate ambassador for the Company
- Gain a thorough knowledge of the Company’s field production systems and procedures in order that assistance and /or instruction can be given for all field jobs, so that it can be completed in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with Company policy utilizing the systems and processes designed for that purpose
- Demonstrate strong problem solving and dispute resolution capabilities as it pertains to effectively and efficiently dealing with staff, customer and school client issues in a manner that promotes and enhances the Edge Imaging Brand
- Other duties as assigned by the Photography Manager or their designate
What we’re looking for
- Photography degree or diploma preferred
- 2 years of Edge Imaging field photography preferred or relevant experience
- Ability to deal with multiple and changing priorities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Experience working with children is an asset
- Available to travel to the main office in Burlington on a regular basis
- Available to travel to all areas where Edge accounts are located
- Available for evening and weekend shifts
- Excellent computer skills with a good understanding of Office 365
- Good knowledge of instant printers
- Good knowledge of all Edge Programs
- Excellent understanding on Edge Capture and DSLR Remote Pro
- Excellent Understanding of Canon Cameras and Lenses
- Excellent understanding of both Visatec and Hensel Lights
- Experience with packaging and shipping fragile items
- As part of the employment criteria, individuals need to meet company criminal check requirements must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Hours to Work
- Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week

- Travel required within Canada

- Ability to stand, walk, bend repetitively for extensive periods of time
- Have access to a reliable vehicle
- A valid driver’s license and car insurance is required
