Contract Details
Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 3 months (extension may be possible, depending on business needs) Pay Rate: C$20.00 / Hour (CAD) Shift / Schedule: 37.5 hours/week, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday; in-office days may be 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM; no overtime expected
Job Summary
The Disposition Coordinator supports the Asset Management team by coordinating the end-to-end disposition and return of enterprise technology assets and other hardware. This role is responsible for managing asset removal requests, validating asset information, coordinating vendor pickups, reconciling inventory movements, and processing disposal-related invoices in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Working closely with Asset Management, site contacts, vendors, and support teams, the Disposition Coordinator ensures accurate asset tracking throughout the asset lifecycle while maintaining strong controls in a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
Asset Disposition Coordination
Monitor and manage asset removal requests submitted through ServiceNow. Review and validate asset information to ensure disposition requests are accurate and complete. Verify asset status, including defective, end-of-life, surplus, and overflow inventory. Coordinate disposition activities with internal stakeholders and secure storage personnel.
Vendor and Site Coordination
Collaborate with third-party vendors (Soroc) to facilitate asset pickups. Provide vendors with required asset information and scheduling details. Coordinate pickup activities between site contacts, support teams, and vendors. Confirm completion of scheduled pickups and monitor the disposition process through completion. Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to asset quantities.
Inventory Reconciliation & Validation
Validate asset shipment details against ServiceNow records. Confirm physical receipt and piece-count accuracy with vendors following asset pickup. Reconcile assets removed from locations with assets received at warehouse or disposition facilities. Research and resolve inventory discrepancies through stakeholder engagement and site verification when required.
ServiceNow Ticket Management
Manage asset disposition tickets from initiation through closure. Ensure ticket details accurately reflect asset inventories, pickup activities, shipment information, and disposition outcomes. Maintain complete and accurate documentation within ServiceNow for audit and compliance purposes.
Invoice Processing & Financial Reconciliation
Review vendor invoices related to asset disposition activities. Reconcile invoice details against ServiceNow tickets. Submit validated invoices for management approval.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all disposition activities are documented and aligned with internal controls. Maintain accurate asset movement records and audit trails. Support compliance reporting and documentation requirements for asset lifecycle management. Adhere to security and regulatory standards associated with handling enterprise technology assets.
Required Skills
Approximately 1–3 years of experience supporting asset lifecycle management, inventory management, or disposition process Strong knowledge of ServiceNow, specifically ticket management Basic Excel knowledge Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and coordination skills Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities simultaneously Strong problem-solving and discrepancy resolution skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Skills
Prior experience working within a financial institution or highly regulated industry Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including internal parties and third-party vendors
Required Experience
Approximately 1–3 years of experience supporting asset lifecycle management, inventory management, or disposition processes
