C Skills Neede d Minimum of 3 years hands on experience on support or projects on FX trading applicatio nsAbility to articulate technical concepts succinctly to a nontechnical audien ceProficiency FX products Spot Forwards Swaps NDFs FX optio nsProficiency with PnL and Risk Management concepts including VaR and sensitiviti esProficiency with VaR Stressed VaR and similar Risk Management concep tsProficiency with PL and sensitivity calculation on FX Options Produc tsSupport of systems running on Windows Server environment Windows services IIS Scheduled Tas ksSupport of systems running on a UNIX environment general UNIX navigation ability to read and understand UNIX shell Perl scrip tsSupport of SQL database based systems Good SQL query skills ability to read Stored Procured understanding of basic Query Optimisati onExperience supporting large batch systems typically Control MFamiliarity with monitoring systems like ITRS Gene osEnglish requir
ed Responsibiliti es Develop good relations with the FX trading business FO MORisk BO follow relationship with third parties manage assist members of t eamSupport high quality support coverage providing every day user support and prompt resolution of and regular communication about major incidents when requi redCoordinate with other teams worldwide especially the FX Risk IT support teams in London and New York with daily handover calls to ensure a seamless support on production incidents and iss uesTake ownership of production issues propose solutions and track followup to avoid reoccurre nceEnsure proactive monitoring of systems to ensure problems are detected promptly and usually by IT before us ersEnforce change management procedures to ensure production stability while facilitating rapid system advan cesWork with project development teams both as needed for level 3 production supp ortParticipate to DRP BCP exercises regulatory compliance exercises and follow up related ta sksProvide and contribute to periodical local and global reporting ITSC and OpCo monthly reports etcProactive monitoring of system health metrics to identify issues before they impact the trading busin essProvide system and process documentation and training to users Ensure IT team is crosstrained with sufficient expertise to avoid keyperson ri
