About the role
Site Superintendent – ICI New Build Niagara Region, ON $110K–$150K (based on experience) + Vehicle Allowance + Benefits A reputable ICI General Contractor is looking to add an experienced Site Superintendent to support upcoming and ongoing ground-up commercial construction projects in the Niagara region. This is an opportunity to join a stable builder with a strong pipeline of work and long-term growth potential.
The Role The Site Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all on-site construction activities on large-scale commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with experience managing trades, maintaining safety and quality standards, and driving projects forward in a structured, organized manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations from start through completion
- Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers while enforcing health and safety requirements
- Maintain construction schedules and ensure project milestones are achieved
- Work closely with the Project Manager, consultants, inspectors, and internal teams
- Monitor quality control and ensure work meets drawings and specifications
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent on ICI new-build projects
- Experience on large commercial developments (retail, industrial, institutional, or similar)
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, including structure, envelope, and interiors
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid health & safety certifications (WHMIS, Working at Heights, Supervisor H&S, etc.)
