Job Description:
Note : These are part-time Support positions (up to 24 hours per week) starting January 7, 2026, and ending on April 17, 2026.
Note : These positions are located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd, London, ON N5Y 5R6.
Duties : Reporting to the Associate Dean of the School of Health Sciences, the part-time Technologists support student learning in lab and simulation-based activities within the Fitness and Health Promotion program Fanshawe College. These positions are responsible for facilitating hands-on learning experiences and ensuring a safe, organized, and effective lab environment.
Responsibilities :
- Assisting with the delivery of simulations using standardized skill sheets
- Performing data entry and evaluation using checklists
- Setting up and dismantling skill stations
- Ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols and control standards
Qualifications :
- Graduate of a 1or 2-year Fitness and/or Health promotion program (or related program) from a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma program
- Minimum 2 years' relevant work experience
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered
- Current work experience as a fitness and health professional preferred
- Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
- A strong commitment to student engagement and success
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent communication and effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of people from different backgrounds
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
- Experience working with students in a professional learning environment would be considered an asset
