MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Read and interpret welding blueprints or instructions;
- Check the dimensions and conformity of parts before assembly and welding work;
- Clean and polish parts to be welded if necessary;
- Plan the sequence of part assembly;
- Adjust, assemble, and secure structures using bolts, clamps, spot welding, or other methods;
- Select and set up welding equipment (gas);
- Weld, brush, grind, and polish welding excesses;
- Inspect the quality and penetration of welds and make corrections if necessary;
- Apply occupational health and safety rules;
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment;
- Perform any other related duties.

SKILLS

- Experience in industrial maintenance or equipment installation (an asset)
